Thanks for checking out my Substack! This is where I put all of my writing that hasn’t found its way into a book yet. The primary focus is on helpful, thought-provoking nonfiction, although I might include the occasional scrap of just-for-fun writing to break things up.

My writing draws heavily from my expertise as a clinical psychologist and my experience as an autistic man, but I don’t view this exclusively as a mental health or neurodiversity Substack. Rather, I want this to be an exploration about improving your connections with other people, living a more fulfilling life, and understanding yourself better.

My hope is that you’ll find writing that’s helpful, thought-provoking, and enjoyable to read. Plus, perhaps a community will form - if my writing sparks something in you, share it in the comments. You likely won’t be alone.

Oh yeah - and do take a second to subscribe, if you’re open to it. You can always unsubscribe, but I hope if you give my writing a try, you’ll want to stick around for the long haul.
